Description: Patient Account Representative will be responsible for maintaining an
outstanding receivable for particular financial class. Duties will include;
submitting claims via paper and electronic, ability to work all incoming
correspondence and remittances, and to initiate collections on all outstanding
accounts. Schedule meetings with various provider representatives. Ability to
maintain carrier denials and find resolutions to reduce future denials.
Experience:
Third party collection and billing experience desired. Knowledge of third
party billing requirements. Excellent organizational and prioritize abilities
a must. Basic knowledge of computers and ability to retain instructions
necessary. A self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot system
flow/problems a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills a
must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
