The Quality Engineer from the Quality Assurance team is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by establishing procedures, monitoring process input and output capabilities, and leading continuous improvement activities.
Coordinate and document key quality department activities, including ISO implementation/maintenance, preventative and corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining an ISO quality management system Assist in the day-to-day activities of the Quality Department Participate as a Quality representative on new product development teams Manage the internal audit program, including scheduling and conducting audits, documenting findings, and following up on corrective/preventive actions Act as equipment calibration coordinator Assist with the investigation and disposition of nonconforming material (MRB) Facilitate and lead corrective/preventive action reviews and other company improvement programs Identify potentials for product quality improvements and drive the improvement efforts Communicate process/product quality standards to plant personnel through personal discussion, written instruction, training activities, etc Develop quality measuring and reporting systems and implement quality improvement programs.
Develop work instructions for relevant job tasks associated with products, processes, and testing requirements Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency and reduce scrap Perform first-article inspections Participate as a member of the Safety Committee Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field 1-10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience in a manufacturing environment with quality systems such as ISO 9001, TS 16949, etc Experience working with data and statistical analysis software Ability to problem solve and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action Multi-task and handle multiple problems without routine management supervision Ability to use standard measuring equipment and assess equipment requirements to fit the quality plan best Communication - demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups, including supplies, customers, and associates, both verbally and in writing Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Fluent in Microsoft Office products and statistical programs Must be fluent in English Benefits INTEGRA strongly believes in work-life balance, and we offer three weeks of vacation, one week of PTO, and 10 holidays per year.
